VCT Maintenance Note

We noted construction on the VCT at the intersection of Brickbat Road. The signage says "Sidewalk Closed", but you can work your way around the work by getting on the turf between the trail and John Tyler (RT 5). Be very careful with that makeshift detour as it was very lose dirt, gravel, and sand. The work appears focused on repairing two pieces of the trail that had either sunk or developed a divot where once posts stood to keep motor traffic out.
