Several WAB members had lunch Thursday with Cat Anthony, the VCTF Executive Director, and Will Gillette, the new Director of Trail Development, whose job it to manage the trail extension into Williamsburg. Will gave us a brief update on what is happening as he gets his feet on the ground. He and Cat strongly encourage advocacy on behalf of the extension. Our elected leaders need to know it is important. Below is an e-mail from Will, where he shares some easy links for us to stay current with trail activity, and to provide input.

JCC is working on their new Parks and Recreation Master Plan and are currently taking responses to a survey
online that can be found here
. Indicating support for multi use trails will ensure the County prioritizes trails like the Cap Trail and Trail757 going forward. You can also use their
Budget Prioritization tool
to indicate support for trails.
