I have learned that the Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA) will start in Van Wert Ohio on 6/13/2026. Martha and I will most likely do this 7 day bicycle tour that will finish on 6/21 and would love to have some WAB company. GOBA is like a junior version of RAGBRAI. It has much less riders, less miles and is a lot closer to Virginia!
The exact route has not been disclosed at this point, but based on past GOBA's in this area, I am guessing it may stop in Bluffton, Bowling Green, Defiance and Ottawa. In the past I have able to find motels for overnight stays. Camping is included with registration. I have already reserved a room at the Comfort Inn in Van Wert for 6/13. There are serval other motels to choose from.
