This is a well-supported annual event produced by Cycle North Carolina (CNC), usually attended by a sizable contingent of WAB members. Next year's event will be April 24-26 in Oriental, NC. 3 days of cycling on routes of varying distances from 15-100 miles. Registration fee includes RWGPS routes, outdoor/indoor camping, SAG support, rest stops, catered meal at the social, beverage garden, entertainment, and more. if you would like to meet up with, ride with, and stay informed of WAB-specific activities during the event. This will be the easiest / only communication link for WAB to use during the event to inform the group of evening plans, organize daytime group rides, etc. This is in addition to registering for the actual event itself!Note1: This is a non-WAB event. As such, participants are not covered by WAB insurance. The "Event Coordinator" is not a ride leader. He would be merely facilitating the organization of groups to ride in this event.
Note2: Accommodations are very limited in Oriental. Indoor / outdoor camping and RV's are likely not a problem, but if you are looking for something else, plan now!
