New members join WAB every month. Unfortunately, we don't always see many of them on rides or at meetings and events. To help welcome and assimilate them into the club, I am offering "meet-ups" prior to the regularly scheduled rides this Friday (8/1) and next Tuesday (8/5). With multiple paces on these two days, I hope many of you will arrive a little early and be "WAmBassadors" to help welcome and encourage them to enjoy their membership in the club.
I'm learning as this develops, so I welcome your input! I plan to attend RABA's "New Riders Ride" this weekend to see how they do it, and if some of you care to share your experience in other clubs prior to WAB, please let me know. (Before September please, so "round 2" generates more interest and participation!)
