June 7 Capital Color Ride: Volunteers still needed!

James City County Parks and Rec is sponsoring the Capital Color Ride on Saturday, June 7.  This is a fun event for kids, but we still need 8 more volunteers to help staff the “color stops” spread out between Jamestown Settlement and Chickahominy Riverfront Park. You can sign up to volunteer right on the WAB website, at  wabonline.org/index.php/component/volunteer/?view=opportunities&eventid=93&limit=25&Itemid=795 .  Specific assignments will be made closer to Saturday. My wife and I signed up directly with the county, so we are not on the WAB signup, but we sure could use a few more volunteers. James City County is an important WAB partner throughout the year, so if you can spend some time Saturday morning helping out, and helping our neighbors have fun, that’d be great. Thank you!
