As you can see on our archive - we are missing all of 2008 and most of 1999 as well as a few others sprinkled in other years. If any of you have saved these issues and could let us borrow them I’m sure Robert would be happy to digitize them as well!

Our WAB Newsletter archive available on the website is now nearly complete, thanks to the considerable time and effort of Robert Buchanan. Robert spent quite a few hours scanning nearly 1,000 pages of older newsletters and making them available in a digital format. There is much of interest in the archive, from the earliest days of WAB, to the issues around planning local/regional bike infrastructure, to the challenges of organizing a thriving club. You’ll recognize a lot of names of WAB members who were instrumental in establishing the club, and who still ride with us today. There are some fun things, too, like the November, 1999 notice of the membership meeting held at Charley’s at the Williamsburg airport, complete with dinner, at a cost of $8.00. Many thanks to Robert for his help in bringing our historical record closer to completion.
