The May 3 WAB Upcoming Events e-mail names me as the "ride leader" for the May 9, 89-mile, Cap2Cap event and the May 17 Tour de Madison event. I am NOT the ride leader for either event. Because both of those events are non-WAB, there is no "WAB ride leader" for either one. Why is this an issue? Liability insurance coverage, which changed in February. Ride leaders' work on WAB events IS covered by our liability insurance. Ride leaders' work on non-WAB events is NOT covered.
