Original message:
WAB insurance does not cover you when riding "non-WAB" events organized by others. This includes CNC, C2C, TDC, TDM, RAGBRAI, BTW, and any other similar events where you are paying a fee to another organization for the ride.
Clarification requested by one of our members:
Per our insurance agent: "In the instance of participation in another group’s event, the person’s membership in WAB is not relevant ...Any liability associated with the event would be the responsibility of the group that organized the event (not WAB)."
