A crew of 8 pickers plus a shuttle driver hit the trail Tues to help with the VCT Spring Clean-up. The unfortunate thunderstorm overnight Monday night made everything wet and muddy, but the temps were nice and cool. We cleaned 7 miles starting from the west end of the bridge to MM 15 (skipping 11-12 which was done by others). We collected 19 bags of trash plus 2 tires for VDOT to pick up. Sad to report that probably 90% or more of that trash was along the road. We did our part to clean up America! Thanks to Harry L, Mike W, Vince F, Joe T, JT H, Bill B, Keith T, Dave H for volunteering their Tues morning. Sorry no pictures.
