On behalf of the entire WAB membership, today we donated 20 helmets to Grove Christian Outreach. The donation supports Grove Christian's Bike Week, which will be held April 7 through 11. During that week, every child who lives in the Grove area will have the opportunity to receive a bike or scooter. The helmets will help ensure that kids who receive bikes or scooters can ride them safely. We will work with Grove Christian Outreach to determine if WAB assistance in fitting these helmets can be scheduled. This helmet donation is part of WAB's continuing effort to have a community impact -- just like we do during our Bikes Out of Hibernation event, scheduled for May 3, 2025.
