Replied by Deana Sun (DSun2015) on topic Christmas Parade Riders Needed!!!!!
I recently learned that E-bike Alley (formerly known as Pedego Williamsburg) plans to have FIFTY (5 0) riders in the parade. There are currently NINE (as in less than 10) signed up for the WAB contingency.
WHERE is your CHRISTMAS spirit!! Ok, I realize it is not yet Halloween, but we need to get a group together.
Training ride information is now on the WAB Ride Calendar. You can't come to the very fun (as in super funny) training rides if you are not registered for the parade.
Thank you in advance for signing up.

WAB needs YOU!!! No, I'm not talking about running for election to the Board of Directors or volunteering for a Commmittee Chair position (although you should certaining think about doing that as well),
I'm talking about representing WAB in the annual Williamsburg Christmas Parade to be held Sunday, December 8 at 5pm.
It's easy, it's fun and even training for it will be fun and not too hard (certainly not as hard as training for a century).
Training rides will take place on Thursdays - November 7, 14 & 21 at 5pm
We will meet in the parking lot behind Conte's Bike Shop in New Town,
* discuss, compare and share ideas (and accessories) on how to decorate our bikes,
* ride to the parade staging area (Kaplan Arena),
* ride the parade route (and maybe parts of CW neighborhoods)
* ride the return route from the end of the parade back to New Town
where we will celebrate our accomplishment as the BEST Cycling Club in Williamsburg!!!
Requirements for participating in Training Rides:
* Register in the Ride Calendar for the parade (Dec
* Register for 1, 2 or all 3 of the training ride (Nov 7, 14, 21)
* Have both front and rear lights on your bike
* Wear hii-vis clothing.
Any questions? Feel free to ask by contacting me via the WAB Members Directory
