Lodging Along the C&O

Some of the Lock Houses offer lodging, but may fill quickly. Other than that perhaps motels in the few towns along the C&O. Later this week I can look up where my brother in law and I stayed two summers ago when we did the GAP and C&O and get back to you.

Helping a friend plan a trek on the C&O and GAP late September/early October. Having difficulty finding B&B or even hostels on the C&O section that time of year. Seeking inputs re lodging experience and/or suggestions including eating options. This would be for a self contained ride, buy no interest in tent camping.
