Information on how to apply or obtain more information, is below:Part-time Position OpeningExecutive Director-BikeWalk WilliamsburgBikeWalk Williamsburg (BWW) is seeking a part-time Executive Director. BWW is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit  promoting increased bicycling and walking in the Historic Triangle of Virginia. The official mission statement is: “To foster a bicycling and walking friendly Greater Williamsburg through education, communication, advocacy, and encouragement. We are helping build a community where everyone can walk, run, and ride safely.”Summary of DutiesThis position provides administrative and project management support for BWW as directed by the Board of Directors (BOD). This will typically be done via the BOD Chairperson or designees for specific programs and projects.Key Responsibilities·         Coordinate project planning and execution with Board members, Co-Op Manager, and Volunteers·         Establish and maintain administrative systems (electronic and manual) to support the BWW mission (examples: calendars, scheduling, volunteer management, mailing lists)·         Manage fundraising efforts·         Manage social media presence and communications·         Manage the BWW website·         Maintain organization “libraries” of essential documents and inventories of assets (storage shed and supplies)·         Maintain working relationships with current and future partners and contractors, including coordination of joint projects·         Support BWW financial management·         Manage or support BWW activities and projects, as assigned·         Manage preparation and issuance of the BWW newsletter·         Support activities of the Bicycle Co Op of Williamsburg, as assignedKnowledge / Skills Requirements·         Five years of implementing/managing projects and events involving volunteers·         Excellent interpersonal skills across the multiple levels·         Experience in Microsoft Office 365 (Publisher, EXCEL, Power Point, Word, Outlook and similar)·         Proficiency in Google Workspace and similar·         Ability to work and problem solve with minimal directionKnowledge / Skills Desirable·         Cognizance of non-profit legal and regulatory requirements·         Experience leading/managing volunteers·         Contracting/insurance/financial management experience·         Grant writing and managementCompensation: This is an hourly position with compensation ranging from $22 - 25 per hour. Beginning weekly at 10 hours per week, but hours may increase as need and resources permit.Work Location: This position has an office at the Bicycle Co Op of Williamsburg, located in James-York Plaza, 551 Merrimac Trail, Williamsburg, 23185. Working from home is accepted.
