This Monday is Memorial Day . Andy Ballentine will be leading a C-Pace ride, and I will be leading a B -Pace ride. To honor those that have given so much for the freedoms that we have here in the United States, join us on this special day in remembrance . To show our pride, let’s wear either our WAB Jerseys or something red ,white and blue. Even a small American flag taped to your bike works.
These rides are open to anybody who wishes to come out and ride along with fellow cyclists and enjoy the camaraderie and the roads of Charles City County. We will be riding Charles City 02 route which is 32 miles long. The pace will be maintained for each ride group, so therefore, I invite you all to come and enjoy the day. We will launch from Charles City Courthouse at 9 AM. Bring a friend but please have them sign the insurance release form.
We will have lunch afterwards at CUL’s Courthouse Grill unless somebody else has other ideas. If any one would like to lead a D pace or a B+ pace pop up ride , contact Harry as soon as possible. Happy Memorial Day friends.
PS , lunch is always open to non-riders or to those that might be recovering from medical procedures or have a bad toe.
