Birthplace of America Trail Update

For some reason, the URL that Reed provided did not work when clicked on from the Message Digest email.  But it does work fro the website post.  So, if you had that problem, please just go to Reeds post on the website and click the link there.  

Changes are underway for the proposed Birthplace of America Trail (BoAT). It will run on the Peninsula from the Capital Trail to Williamsburg, and then down the Peninsula to Fort Monroe. For the Southside, it will cross the James River at the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry and go through Surry and Smithfield on the way to Suffolk. At Suffolk, it will join the Seaboard Coastline Trail, South Hampton Roads Trail, Elizabeth River Trail and Virginia Beach Trail to create a route to the oceanfront. 

The big news is that we have a new name for the trail - Trail757. The Tidewater Trails Alliance is in the process of seeking feedback from the public on four different designs for the trail logo.
