At 9:00 a.m. this Saturday, WAB and PBA members will launch on
joint B+, B, C, and D rides. This is an opportunity to explore the Yorktown and Poquoson areas in the company of PBA members who regularly ride there. Directions to the Start of the Ride at the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center.
- From Williamsburg, drive east on I-64.
- Take exit 247 toward VA-143/Jefferson Ave.
- At the bottom of the ramp, turn L (east).
- Drive on VA-143/Jefferson Ave. for about 1.2 miles to the first traffic light (Yorktown Rd./VA-238).
- Turn L onto Yorktown Rd./VA-238.
- Stay on VA-238 for about 4.5 miles as it changes names several times. Continue straight when VA-238 crosses cross U.S. 17.
- At Cooke Rd. ("T" intersection), turn L (VA-238 also turns L).
- Take Cooke Rd. for 0.3 miles and then turn L onto Ballard St. (leaving VA-238).
- Take Ballard St. for about 0.1 miles to the Colonial Parkway and turn sharp R toward the Yorktown Battlefield Visitor Center.
