Sorry everyone but I do not wish to risk my own safety or that of others on a ride I am leading.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory. At ride time the wind is forecast to be 16 - 18 mph (which is IMHO is torture not fun) with gusts around 40 mph. Given the amount of open areas and heavy traffic long this route, a gust of 40 mph could spell trouble.
If you venture out today, on foot or your bike or even in your car, be careful and safe.
