A reminder to all out club members about
NOT riding on the
Colonial Parkway construction zones. I received a call yesterday from the National Park Service about bicyclists riding on the Colonial Parkway area marked off for construction and rehabilitation. I realize that many of these may not even be members of WAB, however, we should be setting the example of following the specified detours and NOT ride on these sections of CP.
The current closure area: Williamsburg Tunnel southward to the Route 199 interchange closure through Summer 2024.
