October has arrived and that means the sold out Ride Between the Waters will be coming soon. I am guessing that there may be 15 to 20 plus WAB members registered to ride this year. I realize that our folks will be riding at different paces as well as doing different distances. We most likely are also staying in different locations. It is always fun to ride and eat with our group, so I am going try and see if I can set up a few group activities.
First, Martha and I are staying two nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Exmore. For those WAB members/friends that are spending Friday night in the Exmore area and would like to get together for a carb loading dinner Friday night, I am suggesting we eat at Little Italy. I have been in contact with the restaurant and they have a room that could accommodate us if we had a large group.

As far as the ride distances go, Martha and I plan to do the century and we will start at 7:30am on Saturday. I may change that distance depending on the weather.
If you are staying Saturday night and want to go out to dinner, Martha and I plan to go to the Exmore Diner. This very small "choke and puke" diner reminds me of New Jersey , so we always make a point to go there. They do not take reservations , so it is first come first serve. We would go at 6:00pm. Finally, we plan to stop in Cape Charles for lunch on Sunday . Time and location to be determined. We may also ride a short loop Sunday as well.
