USAF M2M Ride

For our proud USAF veterans, for those cycling the Friday Friends Ride, and for anybody else interested, there will be a group of USAF cyclists riding thru our area on the VCT Friday.  It is part of the Memorial to Memorial Ride from the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, NC to the US Air Force Memorial in Washington DC.  100-130 cyclists will be starting day 2 of their 4-day trip in Norfolk, crossing from Surry on the ferry, then heading to Richmond for a century.  Expected time crossing through our area is 10am-2pm.  Local VFW post 4639 is setting up a food & water station at the Jamestown Visitor Center.  For more info, check  M2M Ride .
