Tour de Midnight Charity Event

The following info is regarding a charity fund-raiser for epilepsy.  The event will be October 21st at Frothy Moon Brewery, and there is a discount that expires shortly (info below).  This is not a WAB event, there is no sign-up on the WAB website.

This ride occurs annually on the 3rd Saturday of October. The ride has been held at Midnight Brewery in Rockville, VA for the last 7 years.  This is the 1st year that we are attempting to add satellite ride locations so that more people can come together and ride for a great purpose, which is to support Virginians who deal with epilepsy. Over 99% of the money raised for EFVA stays in Virginia to help those in need. EFVA is a 501(c)3 Public Nonprofit and over 86,000 people in Virginia have been diagnosed with epilepsy. We are able to help so many people in Virginia because of this bike ride. We are moving towards having (5) locations across the state having participants ride for epilepsy on the same day, and connecting all the sites via video and voice and having epilepsy heroes speak about their experience with epilepsy in order to bring awareness for epilepsy to the forefront. 

Do not let the name "TourdeMidnight" fool you as this is not a night time ride.  It is a daytime ride with an after-ride social event at the breweries in Williamsburg, Rockville, and Vienna, VA. The ride can start as early as 8 AM at the satellite locations but will be more dependent on how far the participant wants to ride. We would ask that all riders return to the brewery between 11:30 and noon as we will go live to all locations from 11:30 to 1 PM. 

We will have live music, you receive two drink tickets for the brewery, a commemorative event glass, and we are having two great raffles for a bike and a 50/50 raffle. Most importantly we get to hear from an epilepsy hero from all three locations this year.
