Give Back

We service the community!

The Williamsburg Area Bicyclists is primarily a recreational club. But we also give back to the community through several service projects:

Helmet Give-aways. We partner with BikeWalk Williamsburg to fit and distribute free bicycle helmets.
Cycling Without Age. We provide free rides on specially designed three-wheeled vehicles called "trishaws" to the elderly and those whose mobility prevents them ride cycling otherwise. Read more about this wonderful project HERE.
Bikes Out of Hibernation. This is an early spring joint WAB and James City County event whereby we encourage the community to get those bikes "out of hibernation" with free mechanical/safety checks and club-led rides on the Virginia Capital Trail.

Family Member - Get Your Own Username!

If you are an adult family member of an existing WAB Family Membership, you are entitled to get your own username/password to log in to use the Message Board or other Members Only Features. All you need is the username and member number of the current primary family member and then fill out this form. Further instructions are found on the form. It may take a day or two to process.
