The city of Williamsburg is inviting residents to spend a little time with the police Tuesday.

Williamsburg's 2015 National Night Out event will be held from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Community Building on North Boundary Street.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community communications and partnerships to make neighborhoods safer. 

The theme of this year's event is bicycle safety, and WAB members will be on-hand to share information about our club and to give out helmets.

At the end of every calendar year, WAB will ask the membership to send in your total miles bicycled for that year.  Members will be then recognized at the January or February membership meeting.  Members may have various ways to log and track your mileage.  If you'd like to keep track of your miles on-line, you may do so on the WAB Ridelogs application.    If you'd like to just keep a simple paper record, here is a simple one-page form to record your milage you can use.
