Sunday Cycle

STARTING LOCATION.  Brusters Ice Cream, 5289 John Tyler Hwy., Williamsburg 23185, in the shopping center with Food Lion and the DMV about a 2/3rds of a mile west of Jamestown Road.

Several WAB members have expressed interest in Sunday rides with a mid-day start time.  As an experiment, WAB will start offering these rides once or twice a month.  Most of the rides will start in and around Williamsburg, but we may occasionally go farther afield.  The ride format will be similar to that of the Friday Friends rides.  The ride leader will ride at a "C" pace but will ride at a slower pace if participation dictates.  Participants can ride at whatever pace they wish.  The more participants, the greater the probability of informal groups riding at different paces.  We will ride longer routes as the weather cools in the Fall.  Casual rides like Sunday Cycle may expand ride opportunities for members who are still working or who otherwise have a conflict on Sunday mornings. 

The first "Sunday Cycle" attracted 14 participants.  Today's event is the second "Sunday Cycle" ride (rescheduled from Sept 7th, canceled due to wet weather).
