CANCELLED - Something Different Ride "B"

CANCELLED - FORECAST IS COLD, MAYBE WET; AND LEADER IS SICK

Reed and Karen Nester are planning a series of “Something Different” rides this year. Ride starts will be about an hour from Williamsburg, and rides will be B-Pace, 30-35 miles. The ride starts will be at Osborne Landing Park and Dorey Park, both near Richmond, and Smithfield. 

For our first ride, we will meet at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 11, at Osborne Park and Boat Landing, 9530 Osborne Turnpike, Henrico, VA  23223, at the Shelter 2 parking lot, the first shelter on the right as you turn into the park. Look for Reed & Karen on their tandem.

This 32-mile ride starts at Osborne Park and Boat Landing and includes 12 miles on the Capital Trail. There is a rest stop at the Horizon Store and a second stop at the Malvern Hill Battlefield, with a nice final run through the Richmond National Battlefield Park at Fort Harrison. Any weather cancellation will be posted on the Message Board no later than 7:30 am Saturday.
