POP-UP Pancake Ride

Launch at 10:00am from Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport (100 Marclay Rd, off Lake Powell Rd)

Ride will go out the Parkway to Jamestown Island long loop, then maybe a little on the VCT depending on participant preferences.

D pace, all are welcome, with registration requested.

Hello Friends -- Glenne and I went to last month's breakfast.  We enjoyed a great breakfast outdoors under a canopy and met several friends there, including WAB members. We're going again this Saturday.  The breakfast is a fundraiser for high school students aspiring to get a private pilot's license.  Come out and join Glenne and me this Saturday.  --Charlie--

Pancake Breakfast at Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport

The next pancake breakfast benefiting The Williamsburg Aviation Scholarship Program will be held Saturday, August 13 from 8-11:00 a.m. at the Williamsburg Jamestown Airport.

Held rain or shine on the second Saturday each month April through November, all proceeds benefit Williamsburg Aviation Scholarship Program Students.

Watch the airplanes and meet scholarship students, parents, and board members as they serve up two pancakes, two eggs scrambled, and two sausage patties, with serve-yourself coffee & juice. The cost is just $8 per person ($5 for kids).

There are currently 11 high school students enrolled in the Scholarship Program aiming to achieve their private pilot’s license.
