Cap2Cap Multi-Pace Ride from JS to CRP

If you prefer company on the Cap2Cap, which benefits the Virginia Capital Trail, join your fellow WABbits.  The Club will ride on Friday, May 9th, when the party zone is at Chickahominy Riverfront Park (CRP).  To use the rest stops and enjoy the party zone, you must also register through the Cap2Cap site at Cap2Cap presented by Dominion Energy.  When you register, join the “Williamsburg Area Bicyclist” team and use password WAB2025.  The fee is $75 for the 100-mile, $65 for the 50-mile, and $60 for the 25-mile.  See the Cap2Cap website for more information.

This "JS to CRP" event will enable you to ride a full century (or whatever distance you wish) by starting at Jamestown Settlement (JS) at 7:30 a.m. and riding to Chickahominy Riverfront Park (CRP), where all pace groups will ride west towards Richmond starting at 8:00 a.m.  Most C cyclists and all B and B+ cyclists should be able to cover the 6.5 miles from JS to CRP between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m.  That will require a steady 13 mph pace.

Note:  This is a non-WAB event.  As such, participants are not covered by WAB insurance.  The non-WAB Event Coordinator, if any, is not a ride leader.  He or she is merely facilitating the organization of groups to ride in the non-WAB event.
