2026 Tour de Chesapeake

Located in Mathews, VA, on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, the Tour de Chesapeake cycling event offers rural, flat roads that all lead to water.  There are 4 routes, each around 25 miles, which take cyclists from Gwynn's Island to Bethel Beach to the New Point Lighthouse.  Each route has fully stocked rest stops (GREAT FOOD), SAG support and lovely views.  The ride culminates on Saturday evening with a Seafood Feast and Party at historic Williams Wharf Landing.  Registration NOT open as of 1/24/26 @ Tour de Chesapeake

If you are interested in meeting up with and / or riding with fellow WAB members, please register here (in addition to the TDC site).  In the past, WAB members have met up at 8:00 at the Thomas Hunter School for a group picture, then rolled out.  Have a safe ride, whether with a group or solo.

Note:  This is a non-WAB event.  As such, participants are not covered by WAB insurance.  The non-WAB Event Coordinator, if any, is not a ride leader.  He or she is merely facilitating the organization of groups to ride in the non-WAB event.
