2024 Between the Waters Tour

Description

Located in Onancock, VA, the event features 25, 40, 60, 100 mile rides along VA's eastern shore. Very popular event, capped at 1200, sells out every year. Tucked between Bay & Sea, cycle on the longest stretch of natural coastline remaining on the east coast. Sponsored by Citizens for a Better Eastern Shore. Registration fee: $86. Pace for Rides:
A (20+ mph)
A- (18-20 mph)
B+ (16-18)
B (14-16)
C (12-14)
D (10-12)
Casual Up to 10 mph, with no one left behind

Please note that these are average speeds for the duration of the ride. If you are new to club rides and aren't sure what pace you can maintain, be conservative with your first ride! Direct all questions, cancellations or updates to our ride coordinator at ridecoordinator@wabonline.org

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.

Registration is required for all WAB rides. Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders, and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.
