2018 BWW Proclamation Ride

Description

Proclamation Ride, sponsored by Bike / Walk Williamsburg.  Cost is $10.00, payable at the site. We will depart from Jamestown Settlement at 8:15 by van with bikes secured in the transport trailer. We will take delivery of the Proclamation at the Bell Tower on the grounds of the Capital in Richmond at 10:00 am, and begin pedaling back. At 52 miles, a great ride, a great warm up for all the rides in May and beyond. If you would like to join the crew, contact lindacoppinger@gmail.com. Pace for Rides:
A (20+ mph)
A- (18-20 mph)
B+ (16-18)
B (14-16)
C (12-14)
D (10-12)
Casual Up to 10 mph, with no one left behind

Helmets are required on all WAB rides.
 
Registration is required for all WAB rides.  Pre-registration online accomplishes the following: 1) the ride leader and other participants know who is coming; 2) you are eligible for club insurance in the event of an accident (non-members 1st ride only); 3) you accept the risks involved in riding; 4) you provide necessary legal protection for club leadership and ride leaders,  and 5) we have an easy means to communicate in event of a change or cancellation.   Please familiarize yourself with the waiver on the registration page.
